Skin cancer has become an epidemic. Skin cancers of the eyelid are common and can be difficult to treat. Many nonmelanoma skin cancers (NMSCs) are surgically excised. Radiation therapy is a treatment method that should be included in the dermatologist’s armamentarium of therapeutic modalities. This study retrospectively examined 11 patients who were treated with radiation therapy for NMSCs of the eyelids and were cured with excellent cosmetic outcome as well as minimal side effects.
